SBC wishes y’all a happy first day of SPRING!

Today, March 20th, marks the first day of the best season ever. Spring has finally sprung! And, in Nashville, the sun is shining, the temperature is climbing and beautiful flowers are starting to grow. We can’t wait for social mixers on patios, long walks around Broadway downtown and for weekend sporting events outside!

What about y’all? Do you love spring as much as we do? After this long winter, will you be spring cleaning? Comment below!!

Southeast Business Consultants reviews St. Patrick’s Day

It’s no secret that holidays in Nashville are amazing, big-time events. And, St. Patrick’s Day is no exception. The Southeast Business Consultants spent the weekend celebrating the holiday together with various festivities.

On Saturday, the Demonbreun Pub Crawl was so much fun; $20 got us drink tickets and access to that area’s bars. And, we aren’t kidding when we say Dan McGuinness Irish Pub was the perfect way to spent St. Patrick’s Day. From green beer drink specials to the décor, the bar was decked out for the holiday. The evening went into a concert series featuring Nappy Roots and Genuwine at the Greenhouse Bar in Green Hills. Non-traditional Irish music makes us very happy indeed.

After a night of livemusic and fun, the consultants took to the streets to raise money by running the St. Patrick’s Day 5k. The run started and ended in The Gulch and even the rain couldn’t keep our coworkers away! An after party at Bar Louie wrapped up the day quite nicely. Green beer for all!

Today, of course we are putting our noses to the grindstone at work. But, you better believe we will be social and celebratory tonight at The Pub’s event! Cheers, y’all!!

Southeast Business Consultants reviews a Nashville MARDI GRAS celebration!

If you didn’t take part in the “Nashville Y’all: Mardi Gras Celebration” at the Riverfront last Saturday, or the Mardi Gras Soiree put on by Motif Events at The Standard later that night, never fear! We have the hookup to the hottest Nashville Mardi Gras party for happy hour, bead throwing events and beyond.

If you’re looking to enjoy Fat Tuesday in a upbeat and social environment, grab your best gal pals (and dude friends!) and head to the Yazoo Mardi Crawl! This event features a beer tour of Yazoo and the area’s best brews. Meet at the Hooters downtown around 6pm and go from there to experience your hops on a Tuesday that is sure to be a load of fun.

And, what holiday would be complete without a gathering at the Bluebird Cafe. If you’re able to stand the wait, head to the Nashville landmark to enjoy an evening of food and drink, merriment and, of course, amazing music. Band starts at 9pm, so make sure you head over earlier to enjoy the party!

If you’re looking to celebrate with some down-home, finger-lickin’, NOLA-inspired creole cookin’…..there’s nowhere better in Nashville than Patrick’s Bistreaux in Berry Hill. Seriously, this place will leave your taste buds-a-dancin’ and your stomach more than satisfied. (If you don’t believe us on the authenticity, just do a Google image search on the place. I mean, come on.)

Finally, if your night ends up being as fun as we think it will, you’re going to want to head on over to our favorite late-night spot for a truly cajun Mardi Gras event. Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar located in Printer’s Alley will be hopping with the area’s swankiest jazz band and an experience that promises dancing, a saxophone and, of course, beads galore.

Don’t forget to comment on how you spent your Fat Tuesday! Happy Mardi Gras!

Southeast Business Consultants review our logo

So, as the new year is a few months underway, we are remembering and refreshing our business goals, resolutions and commitments we made for the 2014 year. One of the top components we want to continually focus on is innovation in the workplace. So, we’ve been thinking about changing up our logo. We are looking at different graphic designers and artists and are considering a promotional campaign to launch our new brand.

What do y’all think?
